Panoramic Snowshoe Tour at Gottesacker
An Adventure in Silence Among the Snow Dunes
Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from December 22, 2026, through April 3, 2027.
The easy-to-learn technique of snowshoeing makes this tour a true experience for both athletic beginners and advanced hikers. The panoramic view at Gottesacker is breathtaking and one-of-a-kind. You’ll experience the magic of winter on the Gottesacker Plateau in a whole new way. A true trapper experience included! This tour is only possible when visibility is good. During a leisurely break, everyone can enjoy the snacks they’ve brought along while we marvel at the panoramic view.
Duration: approx. 5 hours
Meeting point: Ifen Valley Station, Snowcompany Shop, at 9:35 a.m.
Price: €80.00, excluding lift ticket or ski pass (for rides on the Ifenbahn), including snowshoes and poles;
Minimum participants: 4 people; children aged 12 and older are welcome (must be accompanied by an adult and have a minimum shoe size of 36);
Prerequisites: Sure-footedness, fitness, and stamina for challenging ascents and descents in the snow covering 500 to 700 meters in elevation and walking times of up to 6 hours.
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high boots (mountaineering boots) or hiking boots, winter clothing, and a backpack with some provisions. Snowshoes, poles, and an avalanche transceiver are provided by the mountain school.
If the hike is not possible due to weather conditions, an alternative tour will be offered.
