Collection of old musical instruments

In the middle of Maria-Theresia-Platz, the collection of old musical instruments in the Kunsthistorisches Museum awaits you, a musical treasure trove full of sound, history and art. In the elegant rooms of former imperial apartments, you will discover instruments from five centuries, from rare Renaissance instruments to keyboard instruments that may have once belonged to Mozart or Beethoven, to objects from the Baroque and Romantic periods.
