From the mill bakery, our path leads through the idyllic village to the Bio Hotel Helvetia. In the fragrant bakery, our picnic basket is packed with oven-warm sugar cake and fresh spring water - ready for a sweet break in the middle of nature.
During the picnic, you will listen to exciting stories about the fine gentlemen who once strolled through Saxon Switzerland and learn what role sugar cake played in this. You will hear how the Eierschecke got its name, why there is a special raisin variant and what connects the Dresden Christmas stollen with the Pope and a Saxon elector.
