The walk, although very steep in some sections, takes place on a well-marked path, characterized by numerous numbered hairpin bends, inside a forest of fir and larch trees, Scots pine and mountain pines at high altitude. The panorama you can enjoy from the cross embraces the whole valley and extends from Valfurva to Valdidentro, passing through Valdisotto. Immediately above, after the vegetation, the majestic Dolomite wall of Mount Reit rises up, on which it is easy to see groups of ungulates.
