Between the towns of Pomerania and Karden, about 15 minutes drive from the farmhouse on a hill, lies the famous Martberg. In ancient times, a religious and political center was located here for many centuries. In Roman times, a Gallo-Roman temple district of supra-regional importance developed. Large parts of this temple complex were rebuilt on the ancient foundation walls and together they convey a vivid impression of the life and beliefs of the Celts and Romans.
The hosts of the Mosel Chalets Gaby and Andi offer exclusively and only for guests of the Mosel Chalets and Das Farmhaus private guided tours in the archeology park. The small proceeds go to the Förderverein Martberg.
After arrangement there is also the possibility of a shuttle service.
