SPEIKBODEN panoramic hike

Speikboden is not only a popular ski resort, but also an ideal hiking area. The mountain got its name from a small high mountain flower , the so-called "Speik" -probably because this beautiful flower is particularly common in the hiking area.

The lifts take you to the Speikboden-Alm at 2000m and the Sonnklar at 2400m, both starting points for numerous hikes on beautifully maintained hiking trails. The sunrise hikes are particularly popular - seeing the first rays of sunshine when everything in the valley is still asleep is an experience that will stay with you for a long time.
