The following should be noted for the most meaningful measurement result:
The last meal should be 2-3 hours before the measurement. Ideally, the measurement should be taken on an empty stomach in the morning.
The last fluid intake before the measurement should be around 1 hour ago, the last intake of alcohol 24 hours ago.
You should not have done any strenuous exercise around 12 hours before the measurement; excessive sweating, e.g. in the sauna, can also falsify the measurement result.
On the day of the measurement, you should avoid applying hand and foot cream, otherwise the electrodes will stick badly.
