During these exclusive technical tours in glacier spring, you have the unique opportunity, to take a look behind the scenes at the Hintertux Glacier and the enormous technology that makes year-round winter fun possible in the first place.

Highlights:

• Take the unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at the Hintertux Glacier with the managers of the Zillertal Gletscherbahn.
• Visit one of the most spectacular cable cars in the Alps and the highest bicable gondola lift in the world, the Glacier Bus 3.
• In the pumping station below the Tuxer Fernerhaus you will learn lots of interesting facts about the complex system of artificial snow production. For example, you will find out what artificial snow is made of, when it is produced and where the water for production comes from. From the pumping station, it's a relaxed ride on the Pistenbully back to the Tuxer Fernerhaus.
• Finally, there is a visit to the Pistenbully workshop , where the 600 hp machines are worked on 365 days a year.
