Hänselejuck in Überlingen

On March 1, 2025, the traditional Hänselejuck fills the streets of Überlingen with life. From nightfall, hundreds of Hänsele - dressed in their typical, colorful spotted linen hats and wearing elaborately carved wooden masks - parade through the old town. Accompanied by the sound of their bells, they dance and jump through the streets and spread a cheerful carnival atmosphere. The Hänselejuck is one of the most popular events of the Swabian-Alemannic carnival, enchanting visitors with authentic customs and a unique atmosphere.
