WAY DESCRIPTION Variant 1

From the parking lot at the fishermen's houses, walk along the foot of Lake Haidersee, cross the small biotope and reach the cycle path. Follow the signs to Faulen See trail no. 5A. The wide hiking trail no. 8 leads into the Zerzertal valley, past the picturesque St. Martin's church at the entrance to the valley, with a wonderful view over the Haidersee lake and the Obervinschg mountains. From there, follow the forest path to the Bruggeralm. The way back can be along the same path or as a circular hike via path no. 24, the so-called Goassteig back to the Faulen See. Refreshments: Bruggeralm, in the inns in St. Valentin auf der Haide

We recommend taking the public bus directly in front of the hotel to the Haidersee parking lot every hour and in approx. 7 minutes travel time.

HIKING DESCRIPTION Variant 2

From the center of St. Valentin, a comfortable gondola lift takes you to the Haideralm. From the mountain station, you will find hiking trail 16a, which you follow slightly downhill and for long stretches, always heading south. Again and again you will be rewarded with magnificent views of the lakes and the special landscape of the Upper Venosta Valley. After around 1 hour, you will reach the Brugger Alm without much effort. Return via the ascent of option 1 or uphill back to the gondola lift.
