Details

This guided hike opens up the Oachner Höfeweg from an unusual perspective: instead of starting at the classic starting point, we begin right in the middle and experience the trail as a varied circular hike through a rural cultural landscape, ponds and historic farms.

Tour description:

We start with bus line 185 at 09:09 at Brunnenplatz and travel together to the Unteraicha bus stop. From there, we walk towards Wirtskeller and on to the historic Prösels Castle, where the view of history and landscape opens up. The path then leads us up to the Schnaggenkreuz, a small vantage point with beautiful views, and on towards the Oachner Weiher pond. Across meadows and through quiet woodland, we finally reach the village center of Völser Aicha, where several cosy places to stop for refreshments await us. Well fortified, we continue on our way and pass several of the traditional farms that give the Oachner Höfeweg its name and character before returning to the starting point.

Walking time: approx. 5 hours

Ascent: approx. 500 m

Descent: approx. 500 m
