Interesting mountain hike in the face of the mighty Grimmings.
The Gindlhorn is one of the lower peaks, but its steep rock faces make it at least as impressive as a large peak, and the mostly steep hiking trail often leads above the cliffs. Two steep wooden staircases have to be climbed to the summit.
The magnificent view from the summit over the Hinterberger valley and the massive wall of the Grimming gives a foretaste of the short, steep descent to the Gasthof Dachsteinblick, from where you can enjoy another fascinating view of the mountain scenery.
A steep descent leads us back to the starting point through easy terrain.
