Helpful facts

Interesting mountain hike in the face of the mighty Grimmings.

The Gindlhorn is one of the lower peaks, but its steep rock faces make it at least as impressive as a large summit.

The mostly steep hiking trail often leads along above the steep faces. Two steep wooden staircases have to be climbed to the summit.

The magnificent view from the summit over the Hinterberger valley and the massive wall of the Grimming gives a foretaste of the short, steep descent to Gasthof Dachsteinblick, from where you can once again enjoy a fascinating view of the mountain scenery.

A steep descent nevertheless leads us back to the starting point through easy terrain.
