Wieserhütte - Mountain Hut (1,850 m)

The Wieserhütte is idyllically situated at the head of the Altfass Valley and is a popular destination for families, hikers, and nature lovers. Look forward to a sunny terrace, traditional South Tyrolean cuisine, and an on-site alpine cheese dairy offering homemade mountain cheese, butter, yogurt, and buttermilk. From the Altfasstal parking lot, you can reach the hut via an easy, family-friendly hiking trail in about 1.5 hours—it’s also easily manageable with a stroller or mountain bike. The trail leads through the picturesque Altfasstal valley and past the Großberghütte. From the Wieserhütte, there are also beautiful extended hikes to the Seefeld Lakes and the Seefeldspitze.
