From the village of Vedig in Santa Caterina Valfurva, take the sent. S522, cross the Rio di Sclanera and the Cornogna forest until you reach the junction with sent. S522.2 that leads to the Sclanera huts. Here you meet a fork again, keep left and climb along the sent. S523. You pass the Plaghera forest and the Santa Caterina ski area along a path with a rather flat course until you reach Ristoro Paradiso. You continue and reach the junction with the road leading to Passo Gavia. At the hairpin bend, follow the path that leads to the Sella and then to the Ciogna locality in Santa Caterina.
