Hike to the Eppzirler Alm

The hike to the Eppzirler Alm starts at the Gießenbach hiking parking lot near Scharnitz and leads through the idyllic Gießenbachtal valley. At first, the trail climbs steeply before flattening out through forest and alpine meadows to the small valley floor.

Once you reach the Eppzirler Alm, you can enjoy not only a picturesque panoramic view of the Eppzirler Scharte, Reitherspitze and lush alpine meadows, but also delicious Tyrolean delicacies from the farm on the sun terrace.
