National park lamas' enclosure, behind the Avanti Trendstore furniture store in Latsch (industrial zone 15)

Camping Residence Sägemühle
Experience an unforgettable hike with the national park llamas in Laces/Latsch! After an initial introduction, you'll set off with the gentle animals on a leisurely tour through blossoming apple orchards and along picturesque paths.
The route takes you along a winding path up to the Untermontani castle ruins with magnificent panoramic views over the central Venosta Valley. Continue to Obermontani Castle at the entrance to Val Martello, where you can follow in the footsteps of the Middle Ages and listen to exciting stories from Llamero Florian.
After a rest at the castle, the trail leads along a historic irrigation channel path through shady forests to the sunny Magrinböden. The way back is via a forest path to the Bierkeller (refreshment stop) and then back to the starting point.
A shorter route is also possible on request - either via St. Stephen's Chapel with its impressive Gothic frescoes or through the idyllic meadows around Latsch. The tour is particularly attractive during the apple blossom season.
