Hike to the Wiesbauerspitze 2,767 m

A real highlight of the Wiesbauer hiking weeks at the Ortnerhof: The hike to the Wiesbauerspitze at 2,767 meters together with your hosts Helga & Hans.

The tour takes you through pristine valleys, past thundering waterfalls and up to one of the most beautiful panoramic peaks in East Tyrol.

After a fortifying breakfast at the Ortnerhof, we start in idyllic Ströden. Via the Islitzer Alm and along the Umbal Falls, we immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of nature. Our trail soon branches off to the Wiesbauerspitze - a varied ascent across meadow slopes, serpentines and small streams.

On reaching the top, you are rewarded with an unforgettable panorama: the view extends from the Großvenediger over the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern to far beyond the Virgental valley. A summit experience that touches the heart and soul.

After the descent back to the Ortnerhof, relaxation and enjoyment await.

✔ Sturdy hiking boots with a good sole
