"Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park"
Multivision presentation with Valentin Pardeller
The Schlern appears like a giant monolith before which the two peaks of Santner and Euringer soar into the sky—this image has become the symbol of South Tyrol.
The Rosengarten, on the other hand, presents itself as a seemingly endless sequence of pointed needles and towers; numerous myths and legends surround this rock massif.
In this multivision presentation, Valentin Pardeller shows breathtaking images and time-lapse footage of the spectacular lighting conditions at the Rosengarten, narrates in his authentic, lively style about his experiences photographing golden eagles and chamois, and transports you into the mythical realm of King Laurin, the dwarf king.
Topics of the lecture include:
- the history of South Tyrol’s oldest nature park
- the most significant peaks of the nature park
- the overwhelming floral splendor of the Seiser Alm
- the abundance of orchids in the nature park
- the golden eagles in the Tschamin Valley and the realm of the marmots at the Rosengarten
- the fascinating play of light at sunrise and sunset
