EveningBreadTimeTour: Rocky world in the evening light

A 3-course picnic in the evening light: appetizers, BreadTime picnic and a small dessert - all 100% locally sourced.

Our EveningBreadTimeTour starts in the tranquil climatic health resort of Gohrisch to the majestic "Gohrischstein" table mountain. This table mountain is reminiscent of Saxon Switzerland in miniature. Rugged rocks, narrow gorges and a fabulous view over the entire national park region await us.

Up here in the evening light, we sample our first appetizer before continuing our hike along scenic paths to our main course. Fresh from the rucksack, we enjoy 100% regional ingredients with a view of the rocks in the evening light. A small dessert with a beautiful view to round off the tour.

Meeting point: Gohrisch parking lot (arrival from Schmilka: line 252, change in Bad Schandau to line 244a, approx. 40 min)

Please bring

.... a small rucksack with enough space for a BrotZeit box. Our 3-course picnic is prepared with love and care. In the spirit of team spirit and to strengthen the sense of community, each participant carries part of the picnic from the meeting point to the rest area. Please also bring enough water or other drinks for the duration of approx. 5 hours (if you wish, you can also order these from us in the next order step and we will bring the drinks to the meeting point). If necessary, each participant will be lent a headlamp for the way back in spring / fall.

We recommend sturdy footwear for this easy to moderately demanding hike. The tour leads mostly along easy field and forest paths, but includes short steep climbs over stairs and ladders at Gohrischfels. Sure-footedness is required.

A minimum age of 6 years is recommended for the tour. Small children who "hike along" in a carrier and eat the picnic provided by the adults can join the tour free of charge at any time. A brief note on the age / number of children in the booking notes is sufficient here. Children from 7 to 14 years who would like to eat with you will receive a reduced ticket.

Character of the tour: Mostly easy hike (short challenging ascent / descent via stairs to Gohrischfels) - pure walking time: approx. 3 hours - distance approx. 9 km - approx. 220 m elevation gain

Leave your car behind! - The meeting point at the bus stop "Kurort Gohrisch Parkplatz" is easily accessible by public transport from Königstein (Reißigerplatz bus station - 200m walk from Königstein S-Bahn station), at least at the start of the tour. The start time of the tour is coordinated with the bus timetable (244a). As the tour runs in the direction of Königstein, you can easily reach the starting point / S-Bahn station in Königstein on foot after the dessert.
