Hike along the Algunder Waalweg/Tappeinerweg to Meran

We use the hotel shuttle and make our way towards Burggrafenamt. Once we arrive in Plars, we start our easy hike along the almost entirely flat watercourse, past vineyards and mixed forests. Known as one of the most beautiful Waalwege in the country, it enchants with fabulous views over almost the entire Merano region. But that's not all. Via the time-honored Tappeinerweg, we reach the imposing Powder Tower and make our way over the Steinern Steg, the winter and summer promenade down to the old town of Merano. Before we start the 15-minute return journey by public bus to the hotel shuttle, there is enough time for a stroll through the beautiful Merano arcades and/or lunch in the typical Italian trattoria "Mainardo".
