You haven't really entered the grounds yet and you're ready to go. At one of the first stations, children can equip themselves with a research kit (on loan). Children are encouraged to make precise observations and comparisons - and it is of course hard for parents to resist. Nature experience games, a touch and feel trail for young and old, a board game station with nature's ingredients, a pond, a terrarium with caterpillars and information boards offer many opportunities to "grasp" nature and provide variety.
