Five musicians and soloists from the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra came together to form a unique ensemble, driven by a desire to experiment with new soundscapes. Their instrumentation clearly reflects this idea: alphorn, didgeridoo, saxophone, and percussion; instruments that, by their very origins, are often thousands of kilometers apart are woven into tapestries of sound through a blend of composed and improvised music. With its music, the “Jacaranda Ensemble” builds a bridge between the cultures of the world.
