The Plose ski area is an insider tip. In addition to 45 kilometres of pistes at every level of difficulty, it offers beautiful panoramic views, a wonderful location on a sunny slope and short waiting times. "Overcrowded" is elsewhere - it's relaxed on the Plose, and several huts offer excellent stopping-off points. Perhaps you will meet Thomas or the Marialuise - but beware: their nickname was once "the Ploseschreck"! The valley station of the ski area is only a three-minute drive from the Summererhof - a visit, even just for a hike to the Rossalm, is always worth a recommendation.
