Details
Climbing every Tuesday with mountain guide Sepp Schiefer. Enjoy an exciting climbing experience and discover the mountain world.
We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Alpendorf gondola parking lot. After checking the equipment, we’ll take the gondola up to the Geisterberg together with mountain guide Sepp Schiefer. Once there, Sepp Schiefer will introduce participants to the use of via ferrata sets and safety procedures on a via ferrata, and will then lead them up the Drachis via ferrata. Around 2:00 p.m., you’ll take the gondola back to Alpendorf together.
Meeting point (start): every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Alpendorf Gondola parking lot (information office on the ground floor)
Duration: approx. 6 hours
Fitness level: good physical condition required
Difficulty: There are several climbing sections rated C (on a scale from A to F), as well as an exposed rope bridge on the route
Food and drink: Bring your own drinks and light snacks!
Requirements: Minimum age 12 years; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult supervisor
Equipment: Hiking boots, backpack, gloves (light work gloves or via ferrata gloves), via ferrata set
Via ferrata set rental: Reserve early at the Sonnhof Alpendorf hotel reception desk
