Description
The Nia Year-End Dance Celebration 2026—feel free to add a little glitter 🌟 and such....
A special Nia afternoon with gentle and powerful beats, flowing movements, and space for joy, expression, and togetherness.
NIA:
Nia offers the opportunity to explore your own body and exercise in your very own way—always at exactly the level that feels right for you at the moment.
Nia provides space for creative expression, emotion, and joy on the one hand, and for athleticism, precision, and power on the other.
The relaxation elements toward the end of every Nia class promote concentration, balance, and gentle stretching.
Nia is the joy of life expressed through dance!
And our Simone is one of the few First Degree Black Belt Teachers in Germany.
PLAYSHOP:
• A Nia Playshop is an extended, typically two- to four-hour movement and dance format based on the holistic fitness concept Nia (Neuromuscular Integrative Action)
• A blend of set choreographies (routines), free dance segments (freedance), elements from martial arts (such as Tae Kwon Do or Tai Chi), and relaxation or dance therapy.
• No prior experience required: The workshops are structured so that beginners and advanced participants alike can take part. Participants usually dance barefoot or in socks.
• Goal: To enjoy movement, reduce stress, enhance body awareness, and experience a sense of community without pressure to perform
TIP:
Afterward, enjoy some punch, mulled wine, and waffles at the “Glühzauber” in the Hofgarten tent :-)
