On a long outdoor trip, Christo Foerster experiences moments "when everything is just fine". He wants to experience this feeling of carefreeness and light-heartedness again without having to embark on a week-long journey. He wants to find out: What happened? Why did it happen? How can I experience it in my everyday life? To do this, he undertakes self-experiments and talks to many experts. He explains scientific findings on the topics of stress, the history of human development, natural fragrances in medicine and colds that occur indoors, not outdoors.

Christo Foerster is considered the founder of the "microadventure" idea in Germany. The trained editor received the German Selfpublishing Award for his book "Mikroabenteuer" in 2018. His podcast "Frei raus" deals with outdoor topics of all kinds.

Books, podcasts, lectures, films - we can rightly expect a wide reach from Christo Foerster. The name Christo Foerster is synonymous with sustainable thinking and experiencing the outdoors in small bites. His microadventure books have shown that adventure and everyday life are not mutually exclusive. With his expertise in microadventures, he embarked on a big outdoor adventure in 2021: the book and film "Abenteuerland" tell the story of his journey through Germany on foot and by SUP. His podcast "Frei Raus", which covers outdoor topics of all kinds, has 50,000 streams per month.
