The TT Hiking Cup makes a stop in Hintertux on Sunday, July 6th.
Unique natural jewels, Zillertal delicacies and lots of music await hikers from near and far.
The first gondolas take you up to the Sommerberg at 2,100 m, the starting point of the expert and family route, at 8.15 am. The Weitental valley, a valley of idyllic scenery and flowers, the 40 m high Schleier waterfall and impressive glacier views are a delight on both hiking routes.
Glacier flea Luis will also be there and is looking forward to a visit to Luis' glacier flea and ball safari, which is located not far from the Sommerbergalm, where the family party with music will take place from 12.30 pm. The groups "Höllawind aus dem Zillertal", "Vollgas Tirol" and "ZPur die Zillertaler Musikanten" will provide great entertainment.
Hiking amidst the glacier scenery not only makes you happy, but also hungry and thirsty! That's why very special Zillertal delicacies such as "a Melchamuas" - prepared by the young farmers of Tux, Zillertal doughnuts and Zillertal oven-baked liver - are served on the Sommerberg to mark the anniversary.
Participants in the TT Hiking Cup receive discounted cable car tickets and children under the age of 10 travel for free on the gondola lift!
