Full Moon Concert: Saraswati String Quartet

The Saraswati String Quartet is considered one of the most exciting chamber music ensembles in Europe. Founded by sitar player Klaus Falschlunger and double bass player Clemens Rofner, they play together with Lydia Kurz (violin & viola) and Irina Zehm (cello). The quartet moves between Orient and Occident: exotic and familiar sounds merge into floating, clear structures. Sometimes interwoven, sometimes unraveled, filigree, almost fairytale-like soundscapes are created.
