Recommendation bike tour Mareit - Café Soge Hiesig ice cream

When the snow starts to melt and the skis slowly go into summer break, it's time to pump air into the tires! Here is a special recommendation for a bike tour in the valley:

Start at our house in Sterzing, take the bike path along the orographic left side of the Mareiter Bach stream towards Mareit. Below the castle hill you can take a break at the forest-and-water path and then cycle back. At about half way you cross the bridge in the direction of Gasteig. In Gasteig we recommend the Café Soge with its homemade ice cream. Besides traditional flavours like chocolate, strawberry or vanilla, there are also some with the delicious names apple strudel, hiesamisu or curd dumpling!
