Old Town Tour

Every 2nd Saturday of the month, 10.30 a.m., meeting point: courtyard Alte Schmiede/VHS next to St. Laurentius church (except August and December)

The town goes back to the settlement of Heidenfeld, which was founded in the first half of the 8th century. Today Marktheidenfeld presents itself as a lively center with a well-balanced mixture of historic half-timbered houses, idyllic Maingässchen and modern architecture. Among the most impressive sights are the Franck-Haus cultural center and the venerable St. Laurentius Church.

Registration for the open tours is not required, the price is 3.00 euros per person, children are free. For the Laurenzi Fair and the Christmas Market, the tourist information office invites you to free guided tours. Please refer to the calendar of events for the dates.
