From spring to autumn the small, fine "Josef-Riedl-Platz" becomes a culinary hotspot in Mayrhofen, the farmer's market opens its doors and invites you to stroll, taste and shop. Fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables, bread, cheese, eggs, bacon and many other regional quality products are on offer at this small "shopping mall".

You get to know the vendors personally and learn entertaining stories about the Zillertal and valuable tips for preparation at home during a nice "Hoagacht" (chat).

Of course, typical home cooking is not to be missed. Regional cuisine is also offered, so you can taste real "Zillertaler Schmankerln".
