When we are mindful, we realize that we have the opportunity to practice mindfulness in every moment, in every relationship, and at every turn. It supports us in recognizing when we are falling prey to old beliefs again or getting caught up in debilitating habits. It also helps us find a way out of the drama, into inner freedom. If we go through the day with a mindful awareness, life itself becomes our master. This evening will feature stories that are about mindfulness. They show how quickly we have a tendency to take the subjective, judgmental mind as objective truth. They are stories in which we recognize ourselves and which help us to laugh at ourselves - if we succeed in mindfulness - to create a distance between ourselves and our ego. Through this distance to the always wanting, hurrying, doing mind we get out of doing and into being. Between the individual stories, small mindfulness exercises are done.
