Hike to the Olpererhütte and Neumarkterrunde

A more challenging hike with spectacular views

We take the toll road up to 1800 meters to the Schlegeis reservoir.

From there we hike towards the Olpererhütte. The ascent here takes around 1.5-2 hours - from the Olpererhütte it is just 2 minutes to the aforementioned Instagram hotspot, the suspension bridge over the reservoir.

After a short refreshment stop, you return to the parking lot via the Neumarkt loop (2.5-3 hours).

Trail conditions: stony, stepped - only with hiking boots! Sure-footedness required!
