Axamer Lizum - popular hiking area and excursion destination

The limestone peaks of the Axamer Lizum are rightly known as the "North Tyrolean Dolomites", as they tower ruggedly and impressively into the sky. The approximately 60 kilometers of marked hiking trails present themselves with a lot of gentle charm.

With the Welcome Card plus (from 3 nights), one ascent and descent with the Hoadlbahn or the Birgitzköpfllift per stay is free of charge.

Parking fee NOT included in the Welcome Card (2 nights) and Welcome Card plus (3 nights).

Parking ticket for the paid private parking lot in the Axamer Lizum hiking area available at the parking machine on site (payment in cash or with ATM card).

Direct access at the turnstile with Welcome Card plus.

The Birgitzköpfllift and the Hoadlbahn are open daily from July 4 to September 15, 2024. The Hoadl-Haus at 2,340 m and the Birgitzköpflhaus at 2,035 m offer refreshment stops.
