Swedish crayfish party

August is crayfish season in Sweden. We wake up at dawn and make our way to the lake. While sipping our morning coffee and smelling the fresh air, the crayfish cages are brought in. Back at the farm, we prepare the special brine with dill from the garden and heat the pot on the fire pit.

In the evening you will enjoy this traditional feast at a traditionally decorated table under the apple tree. This is accompanied by Swedish songs and schnapps.
