This massage with hot herbal stamps has been practiced in Thailand for more than 400 years.

The stamps contain a mixture of special herbs in a cotton cloth, which is bound into a handle so that the masseur can massage the body with the stamp. They are heated with steam so that the healing agents of the herbs escape from the cloth.

The massage movements stimulate the muscles; the heat of the stamp penetrates and relieves pain and tension; the herbs soothe the skin and, according to traditional tradition, also have a healing effect.
