Out of the city - up to the mountain pastures

We walk uphill along narrow, steep lanes until we find ourselves in the forest after around 20 minutes. After about 2 hours on foot, we reach the Umbrüggler Alm, a true architectural masterpiece. The charm and the view of Innsbruck invite us to linger a little longer. The way back takes us to the Hungerburg, from where we take the bus back to the city center.
