on foot to the Kreistenalm

The starting point for this hike is Alpendorf.

You walk through Alpendorf, past the hotels, guesthouses and apartment buildings and continue along the road towards SternAlm. At the last right-hand bend before the Sternalm, the hiking trail branches off to the left to the Kreistenalm. There it goes through an idyllic forest directly to the aforementioned alp. From the hiking destination, you can enjoy the magnificent panorama of the surrounding mountains. Hike back along the same route. You also have the option of taking the Gernkogelbahn cable car down into the valley.
