Snowshoes with anti-ice crampons, poles, comfortable and warm winter clothing, gloves, a hat, hiking boots (NO MOON BOOTS!), sunglasses, and sunscreen. A small backpack with a light snack, a thermos of hot drinks, a small first-aid kit, and a thermal blanket.
