Geigenbühelstraße 203, Seefeld in Tirol
Hike to the Gaistalalm & Tillfussalm
This easy hike in the Gaistal valley winds gently up and down through sparse forest and passes two rustic huts. The trail begins at the Salzbach parking lot (P3, P4, and P5) and, after about 200 meters of gentle ascent, joins a leisurely section of the Ganghoferweg. This path runs below the Hämmermoosalm and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscape. After a while, you reach the rustic Gaistalalm, which invites you to take a break and treats you to regional delicacies. From there, the trail continues to the Tillfußalm, which is picturesquely situated below the historic “Hubertus” hunting lodge. This area exudes a special sense of tranquility and invites you to linger before heading back. The return trip follows the same path, which leads through the varied and impressive natural scenery back to the starting point at the Salzbach parking lot.
