Alphorn Festival 2026

Save the date!!!

From September 23–27, 2026, the Kleinwalsertal will once again be all about the alphorn. Alphorn groups from near and far will provide special musical experiences—both on the mountain and in the valley. The program offers many opportunities to enjoy the unique sound of this traditional shepherd’s instrument or to try your hand at playing it yourself: alphorn hikes, alphorn lessons, and the traditional alphorn serenade are just a few of the highlights. A must-see is the grand finale of the alphorn festival on Sunday: Concerts by renowned alphorn groups from German-speaking countries guarantee a true delight in the sounds of nature, and the closing mass choir featuring all the alphorn players is sure to give you goosebumps!
