Via the Schafsteig to the Rotwandhütte in the Rosengarten

Ascent from Welschnofen by bus to Vigo di Fassa. From there, take the Ciampedie cable car. From Ciampedie we hike moderately steeply along the narrow sheep path (Vial de le Feide) to the foot of the Mugoni, an imposing rocky peak in the Catinaccio massif. From there, the trail leads past the Croda Rossa and the Fensterleturm to the Croda Rossa hut. Descent to the Carezza Pass and return by bus to Nova Levante/Welschnofen to the starting point.
