🏞️ Here's what awaits you:

Lake Antholz is the third-largest natural lake in South Tyrol and captivates visitors with its emerald-green waters and the magnificent mountain backdrop of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park. The family-friendly loop trail right along the shore is one of the most beautiful walking and hiking routes in South Tyrol.

📍 Distance:

Lake Antholz is about a 45-minute drive from the Mountainlodge Margit.

✨ Points of interest:

Emerald-green mountain lake—situated at an altitude of 1,642 meters

Circular trail around the lake—an easy route with breathtaking views

Nature trail – fascinating facts about flora and fauna

Impressive mountain scenery – beautiful views of the surrounding nature

Starting point for further hikes – ideal for tours to the Staller Sattel

❤️ Ideal for:

Families

Strollers

Casual hikers

Photographers

ℹ️ Good to know:

The loop trail is about 3.5 kilometers long, easy to navigate, and stroller-friendly. For a leisurely walk around the lake, you should plan on about 1 to 1.5 hours.

💡 Our tip:

Lake Antholz is especially beautiful in the early morning hours or in the fall, when the colorful forests are reflected in the water. This outing can be wonderfully combined with a hike to the Staller Sattel and on to Obersee on the Austrian side—or with a visit to Lake Pragser Wildsee.
