The classic Gsies ski and snowshoe hike through the Pfoital to the Hochkreuzspitze.
Again and again small forest clearings open up and offer beautiful photo motifs over our valley and the impressive Braies Dolomites towards the southwest.
Starting point: end of the valley in St. Magdalena/Gsieser Tal 1465m
Walking time: 4 ½ hours
Difficulty: moderate; for intermediate skiers - wide and open terrain with a few steep slopes, be careful there in case of fresh snow
Altitude difference: 1274m
Slope exposure: southwest facing slopes
