Pizzo Calabro is one of the most beautiful and best-known fishing villages in Calabria - and you will immediately sense its charm in the narrow, winding streets, small squares and wonderfully authentic atmosphere. A real highlight is the rock church of Piedigrotta, which was built directly into the cliffs above the sea - mystical, special and full of history. The tour then continues to the imposing Aragonese castle, where Joachim Murat, Napoleon's brother-in-law and once King of Naples, spent his last days. To top it all off, treat yourself to the famous tartufo ice cream - the world-famous specialty from Pizzo. Afterwards, you have some free time to stroll through the alleyways, enjoy the panorama and soak up the dolce vita by the sea.
