Guided hike from Tiers to Völs via alpine pastures and ponds

Sometimes it only takes a day out to leave everyday life behind: This guided hike invites you to experience the diversity of the landscape at a leisurely pace, discover special places and share the joy of being out and about together.

Tour description:

From the Brunnenplatz square in Tiers, we set off in the direction of Thaler Bühl. We continue through varied forest and meadow landscapes via Völsegger Bild and Schönblick to Tschafon Leger. Below the imposing Hammerwand, the trail continues to the Hofer Alpl, where we take a leisurely lunch break. Strengthened, we then head to the mysterious Migghöhle cave before continuing on to the Tuff Alm. The way back takes us past the idyllic Huber Weiher and Völser Weiher to Obervöls. From there, bus 176 takes us back to the starting point in a relaxed manner.

Ascent: approx. 700 m

Descent: approx. 800 m

Distance: 16 km

Difficulty: Technically moderate hike, good basic fitness required

Refreshments: Hofer Alpl, Tuff Alm

Useful information / What to bring

Alpine footwear and clothing suitable for hiking, rain jacket, sun cream and headgear, water bottle;

Eventual tickets for mountain railroads and lunch are not included.

The guest pass for the use of public buses is available free of charge for our guests at reception.

We recommend the 3 in 7 or 5 in 7 Mountain Pass. This allows you to conveniently use the various exit facilities in the area. The mountain pass is available at the tourist office and at the Tiers cable car.
