The "new" Botanical Garden is located in the park of the former Villa Schönau in Riesbach. Since 1977, it has replaced the Old Botanical Garden on the bulwark "Zur Katz" at Schanzengraben, which had become too cramped. Since then, it has housed about 9000 different plant species on an area of about 53,000 m², which are grouped into various themed biotopes.

Saturday and Sunday, 8-18 h
October to February:
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 8-17 h
