Guided Hike to the Krimml Waterfall

Our hike begins at the Vorderkrimml train station. From there, an idyllic forest trail leads through a shady spruce forest to the Krimml Waterfall. We then continue uphill along a unique forest trail with numerous stone steps, gaining about 350 meters in elevation. Time and again, impressive views of the roaring waters of the waterfall come into view. During a leisurely stop at the Alpengasthof Schönangerl, we’ll refuel with regional Pinzgau delicacies before continuing our hike to the lowest section of the waterfall. There, the refreshing mist provides a welcome cool-down and makes the nature experience perfect.

Guided hike:

Hiking shuttle pickup at the hotel: 9:00 a.m.

Duration: approx. 4 hours

Return trip: approx. 2:00 p.m.

Moderately difficult hike, approx. 470 meters elevation gain and 12.5 km

Equipment: Ankle-high hiking boots, backpack with plenty of drinks, sun and rain protection, hiking poles
