Enjoy your walk through the Italian rose garden or marvel at the numerous butterflies in the butterfly house. In winter, the "Christmas Garden" is also definitely worth a visit.
The island of Mainau offers various exhibitions, culinary highlights and concerts throughout the year.
As the island of Mainau is located almost at the other end of Lake Constance, we do not recommend traveling by boat from Wasserburg.
It takes 2 1/2 hours for a one-way trip and you can only spend a short time on Mainau.
Alternatively, you can drive to Meersburg and from there take the BSB scheduled boat service (April to October) to Mainau without a car or take the car ferry (all year round) to Constance and then drive to Mainau Island. Parking spaces are available on the mainland.
