Vorderlanersbach 80, Tux
With the multivision show “Stars Above the Peaks” at the Tux Center Lanersbach, viewers will literally discover new galaxies in their own night sky. With the help of incredible images, award-winning astrophotographer Norbert Span takes us on a special journey this evening. A journey through the night to constellations such as Draco, Giraffe, and Boötes, into distant galaxies, and along familiar mountain silhouettes like Hohe Munde, Olperer, and the Three Peaks. After all, the Alps are one of the few places in Central Europe where the starry sky still reveals itself in all its splendor. At the same time, Norbert Span answers the key questions: When does the first star appear after sunset? What does it take to photograph a constellation? And how many little stars are really in the sky?
It’s a show for everyone for whom a night means much more than just darkness! (Norbert Span)
